A long weekend and i had no plans in my mind until my friend Vasanth called me and said " machi i have booked tickets for KO , so u dont do it".... then i remebered that this movie is getting released the next day. " sure da .... i will be there on time....
Friday 12pm .... PVR theatre- Screen three , we both were seated with tray full of nachos and a bottle of pepsi by the side. the movie started with a delay of 15 min and then I happened to see my watch only when the lights were switched on during the interval.all credits to the racing screenplay that kept us tied to the seats.the concept was quite unique to tamil film industry with varios twists and turns in every frame of the movie.
there are three things which deserve an applause - the perfomance of artist, location and cinematography and ofcourse the melodies of harris jeyaraj . No doubt that jeeva has done a wonderful perfomance, but Ajmal outplays him in various scenes. karthika asa newcomer not only shines in her glamour but also in acting skills. hey eyes speak for her. pia bajpai entertains us and makes us enjoy the film through all her actions. The right combination of the artists adds strength to the movie. The scenes have been framed with reality and make us easily relate to the various incidents we have encountered i nthe recent days. No doubt this movie could have influenced the election if it got relased before 13th Apr.
The racing screenplay keeps you wondering of the next scene. The locations are cool, much better than the desert that shankar found for romance of one "budda" and "buddi" is enthiran. the twist just before the climax is unpredictable and makes you fix your eyes on the screen. All the songs are excellent -wat more to say ? the music is by Harris. especially the song "Enamo Edho" tunes in your ears even after you leave the theatre.
Sorry for not mentioning anything about the storyline. Its worth watching So go and watch it at the theatre. I would suggest for a 4 star rating . Enjoy watching It
